god shots and kona and microfoam oh my
the last two days have been pretty incredible.
it's just been that sort of "on a roll" sensation that's hard to describe.
the shots have been pulling perfectly, latte art has been easier, customers have been happy and everyone's been getting along.
i tasted the Kona Purple Mountain Fancy Grade today.
perhaps the best coffee i've ever had -- you know how hard it is to be categorical about these things. suffice it to say that it was incredible. a near perfect cup - rounded, smooth, incredibly balanced and supple. strong buttery nut flavours and some wonderful subtle fruit as it cooled.
we also tasted an Aged Sumatra Lintong (not to everyone's taste - super funky) and a couple really nice blends.
mood - happy, playful, perky
music - LTJ Bukem
coffees - Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, French Roast
special - Sulawesi Toraja Press Pot
